A new study led by a researcher from India have found that guava is a "superfood" with the highest concentration of antioxidants that can serve to protect the skin from cell damage that can cause premature aging and skin cancer.
A series of tests conducted on fruits in India, including apples, pomegranates, bananas, grapes and guava, found that the guava, which is the fruit of the poor in India, has the highest concentration of antioxidants compared to all other fruits.
The study of the presence of a concentration of 500 milligrams of antioxidants in every 100 grams of guava, 330 milligrams of the plums, and 135 mg in pomegranates. While Apple has only a quarter of an antioxidant in guava, and banana has only a small part, that is 30 mg per 100 grams.

"Guava is a rich source of antioxidants, is also a fiber-rich foods.
